The Wisco Project

The Wisco Project is an impactful youth vote organization in Wisconsin, running large-scale campus organizing and student-oriented digital programming across the state. This year, the 60,000+ students at the 11 colleges and universities in Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District have the power to decide not only one of the top congressional pick-up opportunities nationally, but also the State Senate and Assembly races that will be the tipping point in achieving a rare Democratic trifecta. The Wisco Project’s innovative plan will enable them to reach these students everywhere they are — in person and online — and mobilize them towards delivering these critical victories.

Land & Liberty, part of the Clean Grid Alliance, boasts a highly experienced team with a two-decade track record of effectively navigating utility-scale siting conflicts across several states, including Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Their renewable energy siting efforts are distinctly concentrated on the more conservative, rural regions within these states, acknowledging that these areas hold the greatest technical potential for renewable energy projects while concurrently harboring the lowest levels of public support for the fundamental reasons behind transitioning to carbon-free sources of electricity.
