Steering Committee
The 1.5°Climate Steering Committee is composed of technical experts related to our focus areas as well as philanthropic leaders. This combination helps us ensure highlighted projects are both impactful and well received by our network of donors. The committee is responsible for selecting the sub-topics we focus on throughout each year, which drives staff landscape analysis and research. The committee also makes the final selection of the organizations 1.5°Climate elevates through our project pitches, which take place every 2-3 weeks on Zoom. Committee members serve staggered 2-year terms to constantly inject new ideas and perspectives into our work.
